What pH Down should I Use?

The most commonly used pH down in hydroponics is phosphoric acid. Other pH downs are sulfuric acid, citric acid and nitric acid. Phosphoric Acid is readily available and does a good job of reducing the pH of a nutrient solution. Adding phosphoric acid to your reservoir will slightly increase the Phosphorus levels of the nutrient profile you’re using.
