Lollipopping is a pruning technique that removes under-developed growth from the lower half of your canopy. As the upper canopy develops, lower growth will get access to a lot less lighting. With less light, these lower flowering sites will be considerably smaller and less developed than the flowering sites above. Lollipopping removes this lower growth during the growing cycle, giving the plant an appearance of a lollipop.
